Intentional Communities: What is Possible for Humanity?
Join me for a presentation on 3 thriving intentional communities:
- Twin Oaks Community – a 100 person egalitarian, income-sharing commune in rural Virginia
- Kommune Niederkaufungen – an 80 person income-sharing, asset-sharing, debt-sharing commune in peri-urban Germany
- Be The Change – a service oriented, electricity-free, fossil-fuel-free, urban homestead and gift economy space in Reno, Nevada.
Over the last 6 years, I have been living in and visiting intentional communities and experiments in sustainable living around the world, experiencing first-hand new ways of living. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with you!
Why do people live in these intentional communities? How do they make a living? How do they deal with money? How do they give back to the world? How do they make decisions? Do people get along with each other?
